This course provides guidance on several basic planning principles and design considerations that should be reviewed and incorporated into the site planning process whenever possible. Using these principles and design considerations will help reduce environmental impacts and minimize project construction costs.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, the participant should understand how to adapting a plan design to existing site conditions and the natural features of the landscape to greatly reduce the project’s environmental impacts.
